Gotta hand it to our team! For each case of disposable gloves used in our kitchen, a hungry person is fed thanks to Elara’s One Case • One Meal program. Last year we helped provide 7,743 meals through City Harvest. Our grand total over two years? 11,734 meals.
We’re all about getting inspiration from everything and everywhere, which is what makes NJ-based artist Joe Iurato's work so rad. He creates tiny wooden cutouts based on his experiences from skateboarding to breakdancing and rock climbing to fatherhood, and sets them up in cool places for the community to stumble upon. Check out more of his stuff on Flickr. [Photos: Junk Culture.]
If eyes are the windows to the soul, are windows the soul of the city? Graphic designer José Guízar seems to think so. For his cool project Windows of New York he illustrates a different NYC window every week. Maybe a New York Shack will make the cut! [Photos: Windows of New York.]
Burgers in technicolor! Pretty cool — but we’ll take our ShackBurgers griddled, rather than 3D-printed. [Photos: Behance / Zim and Zou.]
